FLORIDA CONNECT · FOR CONTRACTORS
By Florida Connect · Updated November 4, 2026
Your next step: Search for your business before creating a new profile. If it already appears, open its profile and use the claim option. If it does not appear, choose Add New Business on Florida Connect.
Search your business name and review the phone number, website, and service area. A public listing may have been created from publicly available business information. That does not mean the owner has claimed it, endorsed the directory, or been independently vetted. Claim only a business you are authorized to represent.
Already listed? Open the profile and follow its claim instructions. New to the directory? Use Add New Business and complete the account and listing steps shown. Avoid adding a second profile because an existing one contains outdated information; request a correction or claim it instead.
Your real trading name and public business phone.
Your website and a business email you monitor.
Your core trade and the services you actually provide.
The South Florida cities and counties you genuinely serve.
A clear description and business or project photos you have permission to publish.
Explain who you help and what work you take on. “Bathroom remodeling for occupied homes in Broward County” is more useful than “We do everything.” Include practical details customers need before contacting you: project types, service area, and the best way to request an estimate. Publish an address only when it is appropriate for customers to see it.
Open the public profile on your phone. Test the call and website buttons, check spelling, and confirm that your service category matches your work. Recheck the profile when your contact information or services change.
No. A listing, claim, or paid placement is not a license check, insurance confirmation, endorsement, or guarantee of results. Describe credentials accurately and keep supporting information current.
No. A complete profile gives people a clearer way to understand and contact your business. Enquiries depend on demand, fit, and many other factors.
